One Year Course for Graduate Mech Engg in MERI

One Year Course for Graduate Mech Engg in Meri aims to equip you with the Knowledge, Skills and Attitude required working on ship as a Junior Engineer. The Course is a tightly structured one which you will complete in one year. The syllabus, which is in the form of 15 competences to be mastered, is laid down by the International Maritime Organisation and ratified and enforced by the Director General Shipping, Govt. of India. The Syllabus lays down in great detail the number of hours of training in each subject and in classrooms, laboratories and workshops.

Practical Skill trainning at various location, including the Institute’s workshop, the Ship Repair workshop inside the chennai Harbour, working on ship as well as in a power plant.

JECA Syllabus

JECA (West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam MCA) is a yearly entrance exam which is carried on by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board. There are 7 cities in West Bengal in which JECA is carried on: Barddhaman, Durgapur, Krishnagar, Medinipur, Siliguri, Kolkata and Howrah.
