Railway Labor Act is a United States federal law that governs labor relations in the railway and airline industries. The Act, passed in 1926 and amended in 1936 to apply to the airline industry, seeks to substitute negotiate, arbitration and mediation for strikes as a means of resolving labor disputes.

The RLA was the product of negotiations amongst the major railroad company and the occurrent that constitute their employees.

    sir i am loco pilot in s.r my qustion if six working day complet than 1 perodical rest means in one month four rest but due to maximum they are not given the PR in one month maximum 3 or2 pr is comining in our account whenever railway another emplye like that t.t sm another staff geting a compalsari rest eventho t.t also dowing running duty so why diffrent between loco running and another sttaf ? why we are not getting a C.R i where give the complent regarding this matter and what is the docoment is a requre kindly inform me thanks
