Pima cotton is higher quality cotton than regular cotton. Fabric made from pima cotton will be softer, denser, and more durable than those made from regular cotton. Pima cotton is widely develop in the American Southwest, where it was in the first place cultivated by Native Americans who likely got the crop from Peru, and was later adopted by growers who precious to product luxury material products.
