Pink Eye
What is Pink Eye?
Pink eye also known as conjunctivitis. Pink eye is redness and inflammation of the membranes (conjunctiva) deal the whites of the eyes and the membranes on the inner part of the eyelids. The cause of pink eye is ordinarily a bacterial or viral infection, an allergic reaction or in babies an incompletely opened tear duct.
Pinkeye also can be caused by allergies. These cases tend to happen more frequently among kids who also have other allergic term, such as hay fever. Triggers of allergic conjunctivitis include grass, ragweed pollen, animal dander, and dust mites. Many Times a substance in the environment can irritate the eyes and cause pinkeye; for example, chemicals and air pollutants
