What Is A Capital Sentence?
When a suspect is judged of a crime and declared to death, this is known as a capital sentence. This type of sentence is also popularly known as the “death penalty” in many countries. A great deal of argument exists globally over capital sentencing, which has a number of staunch antagonists and defenders.

Capital sentence in the United States changes by jurisdiction. In practice it applies only for aggravated murder and more rarely for crime murder or contract killing. when someone devotes a crime which is sentence by death, the crime itself is also said to be capital. The methods of execution and the crimes subject to the punishment vary by jurisdiction and have changed widely during time.
