The Human Resources (HR) Strategy sets out Birkbeck’s plans to assure the accomplishment, growth and possession of the best quality staff in all staff groups, in order to fulfill the College’s Mission and thereby meet its strategic aims and goals. Schuler and Walker explain Human Resource Strategy (HRS) as “a set of procedures and actions jointly shared by human resources and line managers to calculate business-related problems”.
