Jaguarondi

Jaguarondi
The jaguarundi is a medium-sized wild cat that lays out from southern Texas in the US south to South America. It has a total length of 88–128 cm and a weight of up to 9.1 kg. Jaguarondi is a little wildcat of tropical and subtropical America, with a thin body and a long tail. It has short legs and an appearance slightly like an otter; the ears are short and rounded.

Another territorial pet name for the jaguarondi, the otter cat, proposes a trait irregular of felines: it swims, and does so without hesitation. Its long, low-slung carriage and short fur, both useful for proceeding underwater, cause the jaguarondi to look much like an otter. The jaguarondi’s habitat consists of dumb forests, and it seldom occurs into the open. Because it is so subtle, knowledge about the jaguarondi is hard to acquire.
