Power Supplies

A device or system that supplies electric or other kinds of energy to an output burden or group of burdens is named a power supply unit or PSU. The word is most ordinarily enforced to electric energy supplies, less frequently to mechanical ones, and rarely to others.

There are lots of forms of power supply. Most are planned to exchange high voltage AC mains electricity to a desirable low voltage supply for electronics circuits and other devices. A power supply can by burst down into a series of blocks, each of which executes a special operation.
For example a 5V regulated supply:
