C-Mount
A C-mount is a kind of lens mount ordinarily discovered on 16mm movie cameras, closed-circuit television cameras, and trinocular microscope phototubes. C-mount lenses furnish a male thread which matches with a female thread on the camera. C-mount security cameras are the lifetime favorites in this industry. C-Mount cameras can sometimes be recognized as CS-Mount Security Cameras.
Lenses created primitively for TV cameras might not invariably fit movie cameras, as some lack fund to focus or set photograph, as the video cameras could perform these occasions by other means. Also note that the back component of some video lenses might project too far from the mount, and would interfere with the shutter or reaction observer mechanisms in a movie camera.
