Bill Moyers was born June 5, 1934 is an American author and public observer. He served as White House Press Secretary in the United States President Lyndon B. Moyers has had a broad involvement with public television, producing movies and news journal programs. He has won many awards and honorary degrees. Bill Moyers is one of the most identifiable figures in journalism in the 21st century.
He was also actively demanded in the campaign of John F. Kennedy, and delivered as Lyndon Johnson’s Press Secretary when Johnson took over after the Kennedy assassination. The call of public and political life did not keep him long as a minister, and he left ministry to direct Lyndon Johnson’s presidential campaign. Bill Moyers became known for his insightful series programs. Bill Moyers has received virtually every major journalist award, and some like the Peabody, multiple times.
