Bundt® Cake
How to bake Bundt® cake?
A bundt cake is a sweet cake that is baked in a bundt pan, shaping it into a distinctive ridged ring. A Bundt cake is simply the name used for a dessert cake baked in a Bundt pan or a round baking pan with a tube in the center with fluted, altered sides. It’s only been in the last few years that Bundt® cakes have become very popular. The German word bund in bundkuchen developed either from bundling or wrapping the cake’s dough around the pan’s center hole. Bundt cakes are rugged and last well.
Bundt cake recipes often call for an individual furnish or fruit topping. Bundt cake recipes have since been quite popular and bundt cake pan sales have increased. Bundt Cakes are the original self-decorating cakes. Pound cakes can be made in Bundt cake pans or in a tube pan. Dalquist trademarked the word bundt, and Pillsbury licensed the name in 1970 for a line of cake mixes.
