What is Interim financial statement?
Interim financial statements bills should be based on the accounting principles employed in the previous year’s periodic report unless a change has been adopted in the current year. Interim financial statements are generally unsuited. Footnote disclosure is given of seasonality effects. Businesses generally release annual financial statements, but many also opt for reporting financial statements on a more frequent basis. It illustrates one possible format for condensed interim financial statements, based on a fictitious multinational corporation; the corporation is not a first-time adopter of IFRSs.
