What is property Appraiser?
The Property Appraiser is dedicated to providing unsurpassed personalized and professional service to the citizens of Brevard County and producing the most accurate valuations of property at the lowest cost to taxpayers. An appraiser is one who sets a value upon property, real or personal. In England the business of an appraiser is usually combined with that of an auctioneer, while the word itself has a similar meaning to that of value.
The continuing decline in property values over the past three years is the sharpest I have seen in my more than thirty-five years as a certified appraiser and realtor. Appraisers of imported goods and boards of general appraisers have extensive functions in administering the customs laws of the United States.
This project is intended to benefit you, the public. The need for appraisals develops from the heterogeneous nature of place as an investment class: no two properties are very, and all properties differ from each other in their location – which is one of the most important determinants of their value.
