What is Connective tissue Disease?
A connective tissue illness is any disease that has the bones of the body as a primary target of pathology. The bones are the structural portions of our body that basically hold the cells of the body together. The connective tissues are wrote of two major structural protein molecules, collagen and elastin. Many connective tissue diseases characteristic abnormal immune system activity with inflammation in tissues as a result of an immune system that is directed against one’s own body tissues (autoimmunity). Diseases in which inflammation or weakness of collagen tends to occur are also referred to as collagen diseases.

There are many different types of scleroprotein protein in each of the body’s tissues. Many connective tissue diseases feature abnormal immune system activity with inflaming in tissues as a result of an immune system that is conducted against one’s own body tissues (autoimmunity). Diseases in which inflammation or weakness of collagen tends to occur are also referred to as collagen diseases.
