What is light Rail?
Light rail pass through (LRT) is a class of urban rail public transportation that in general has a lower capacity and lower speed than heavy rail and metro systems, but degree capacity and higher speed than traditional street-running tram systems. Modern light rail technology is flexible and adjustable, and whether any given system is considered a true rapid transit system or not depends upon its characteristics. The VTA was formed in 1995 by a merger of the Santa Clara County Transit District and the County Congestion Management Agency.
Light rail fares are the same as transportations, and tickets can be purchased at any light rail station. Prior to aiming with a received operator, new personnel practice without passengers for several weeks under controlled conditions. The Valley Transportation Authority is a special district responsible for public transportation, congestion management, special highway improvement projects, and countywide transportation planning for Santa Clara, California, USA.
