What is a Latex Mattress Topper?
Latex is a concerning product and when it called “natural,” it is made from the sap of the rubber tree. It has long been used in a form of productions and one common use is to make pallets and pads from it. The latex mattress topper comes in sizes eligible for any size bed, and there are many boasts about these toppers that people like. The fact that these pads can last for up to 20 years is impressive and may partly warrant investment in one. Those shopping for mattress toppers should be aware that there is some difference between a fully natural latex mattress topper and one that contains synthetic latex.
Latex toppers particularly when made only of 100% raw latex in the Talalay method are valuable, sometimes even more than new mattresses. Thickness matters and thicker toppers usually cost more. A topper that is 5 or so inches in dimension can easily cost several hundred dollars. Some toppers may be less expensive if they use both natural and manmade latex, but many side on the virtues of toppers that are 100% natural.
