Bodycombat

What Is Bodycombat™?
Bodycombat™ is a non-fighting cardiovascular competence-to-music compute drawing from product martial arts disciplines, such as martial art, kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi, and Muay Thai. New music tracks are also included with each accomplishment and add form to the program. Increasing or decreasing the range and acceleration of motion can help control the intensity of the exercise, thereby giving the participant the ability to regulate the level of energy expended. Each class typically breaks down into ten routines, beginning with an upper body warm-up that may teach jabs, uppercuts and hooks.

The warm-up session also ordinarily includes a frown body warm-up as well that focuses on several kicks. The cool-down section employs elements from Tai-Chi, using gentle flowing movements to stretch hard-worked muscles and behave the body and mind. This workout is not only a vigorous exercise routine, but also may help to reduce stress and build self-confidence. Bodycombat™ was founded by Les Mills, a native of New Zealand. Leslie “Les” Roy Mills is a retired New Zealand athlete, having represented New Zealand at the Olympic Games in the 1950s, 60s and early 70s.
