Alagappa University establish in 1985 as issued from the galaxy of institutions intially launched by the munificent and multifarious personality, Dr.R.M. Alagappa Chettiyar in his home town at Karaikudi and is trained to prominence as yet another academic constellation in Tamil Nadu. The University has had the unique chance of having a sequence of high Vice-Chancellors to guide its destiny. The Directorate of Distance Education was launched in the University in 1992.The DDE is providing excellent diversification of Management Programmes and more than 14,000 candidates have entered in different Management Programmes.

Eligibility:
The candidate must have Graduate in any discipline from any recognized University should have done by the candidates, to be eligible for this PG program.
Selection process
Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in Entrance Test: CAT Exam /XAT Exam /MAT Exam. Candidates short-listed on the basis of Entrance Test score will be called for Group Discussion and Interview for final selection.
How to apply
The application form is available at the official website of Alagappa University and also at the appointed test centers. Candidate who wants to apply has to carry filled registration form, support documents & D/D to the Test center for Registration & appointment. The test fees are to be paid by Demand draft/ banker’s cheque drawn in favour of The Registrar, Alagappa University, Payable At Karaikudi by putting in a self – addressed stamped (Rs.25/-) envelope of size 35 x 10 cm.
