National Institute of Technology Jamshedpurn

National Institute of Technology,Jamshedpur, one of the 20 NITs in India. It was launched in 1960 as a Regional Institute of Technology. NIT found the status of a Deemed University on December 2002 and it is under the control of Human Resource Development Ministry since 2003.National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur is one of the prime engineering institutes of India. NIT Jamshedpur is amongst the earlier eight Regional Engineering Colleges that were instituted as joint guesses among the Government of India and State Governments. NIT Jamshedpur is spread over a campus of 320 acres.
