A proposition by Dr. M.K.Chaudhuri to launch an institute under the name of “Institute for Planning and Administration of National Economy” was sent on to Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, the then Prime Minister and Chairman, Planning Commission, Government of India.The institute was attached to carving edge research and education on economics, entrepreneurship and management.IIPM has developed to get the world’s biggest business school with 5000 postgraduate management students in nine campuses throughout seven of India’s biggest cities, with placement powers in San Francisco, New York, London, Dubai and Singapore.The beginner Director resigned from professorship of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B) and founded IIPM in New Delhi. IIPM community is a mix of students from all cultures, education and work backgrounds.
