The Indira Gandhi National Open University, (known as IGNOU) is a national university with its central office in New Delhi, Delhi, India.IGNOU, the biggest university in the world was launched to conduct education by way of distance and open education, furnish higher education chances especially to the deprived sections of society.IGNOU offers 175 academic programs comprising 1100 courses at certificate, diploma and degree levels. IGNOU hosts the Secretariats of the SAARC Consortium on Open and Distance Learning (SACODiL) and the Global Mega Universities Network (GMUNET) initially backed by UNESCO.

Eligibility for IGNOU M Ed
The candidate should have a B.Ed. or B.El.Ed. Degree with atleast 55% marks and also those who have two years’ teaching/professional experience after completion of B.Ed. Programme in a Government/ Government recognized school /NCTE recognized teacher education/research institution in education, are eligible for the programme.
Fee
M Ed – Rs 36000 (for the entire programme of two years)
How to apply
The candidates can get the application form from the official website of IGNOU website: http://www.ignou.ac.in/ and also get by post by sending an IPO / DD of Rs 250 drawn in favor of IGNOU. The downloaded application form must be submitted along with a DD of Rs 250.
