University of Mumbai, more popular as Mumbai University is one of the top notch Universities in India.The name of the University has been converted from ‘University of Bombay’ to ‘University of Mumbai’ as per the Government Gazette dated 4th September, 1996.The University of Mumbai (formerly University of Bombay), is a state university located in Maharashtra state of India. Most of the colleges in the city of Mumbai and the districts of Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg are attached with the University of Mumbai.

Eligibility
The candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in science (or BCA) from recognized University with Maths at 10+2 level.

Selection process
Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in Entrance Test with good score. Candidates short-listed on the basis of Entrance Test score will be called for Group Discussion and Interview for final selection.

The candidates can get the application form from the official website of University of Mumbai and also get from the university counters. The test fees are to be paid by Demand draft/ banker’s cheque drawn in favour of Mumbai University.
