Amravati University was launched on May 1, 1983 done division of University of Nagpur. Shri gadge Baba Amravati University is a guiding learning centre in the Maharashtra, India. The University is accepted under Section 12(B) of UGC Act. University respects research as grounds that teaching programmes are underpinned by a solid base of latest cognition and advanced techniques. The University is also an affiliate member of Association of Commonwealth Universities, London (U.K.). Amravati University is having several departments and courses linked to Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering, Technology, Management etc.

The candidate Selection is based on Common Admission Test CAT followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) held at Amravati University.
