TISS Disaster Management
The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) was launched in 1936, as the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work. Tata Institute of Social Sciences is a prime social sciences institute based in Deonar, Mumbai, India. Today, the TISS has made acknowledgement as an institution of esteem from different Ministries of the Government of India, several State Governments, international agencies such as the United Nations, and the non-government sector, both national and international. Disaster Management is issuing as a field of practice that demands qualified professionals. In order to satisfy this need, Jamsetji Tata Centre for Disaster Management, TISS provides a post graduate programme in Disaster Management.

Eligibility:
The candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration from a recognized University in any discipline with a minimum average of 50% of marks (40% for SCs / STs).

The candidates can get the application form from the official website and also get By sending a request letter to the Deputy Registrar (Gen. Admn.) of the Institute along with a Demand Draft for Rs.550/-, drawn in favour of Registrar, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, payable at Mumbai.
