Indian Institute of Information Technology Amethi
IITA has an extension campus at Amethi, Sultanpur District; The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad was demonstrated in 1999. Rahul Gandhi, MP from the Amethi Lok Sabha Constituency, laid the foundation stone for the new extension centre of IIIT-Allahabad at Amethi on April 14, 2006. The project is likely to cost about Rs 35 crore, although final details are yet to be worked out. All academic and residential areas are connected to the Institutes’s network.
