Annamalai University Engineering department are established in the year 1945 with the objective and an incentive vision to support contemporary engineering, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The Annamalai University is well known for their distance learning education. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Ball State University of USA. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology gives importance to teaching and research.

Eligibility
Candidates for admission to the first year of the four year degree Programme in Engineering must possess a pass in H.Sc (Academic) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Or Diploma in one of the courses likes Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical and Computer Science and Engineering.

Admission process
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in their qualifying examination and the Entrance Examination conducted by this University. Candidate also has to fill out an application form that is available at the official site of the university.
