The National Institute of Technology, Durgapur was launched by an Act of Parliament in 1960 as one of the eight such colleges directed to function as a pace setter for engineering education in the country and to further national desegregation. Eligibility
The candidates must hold a Bachelors Degree (10+2+3) from a recognized University in any discipline with at least 50% Marks in aggregate.
Selection process
Candidates are selected on the basis of rank/score at CAT/MAT/XAT followed by a Group Discussion (GD) and Interview at the institute.
