The National Institute of Technology Patna (NITP) is the eighteenth National Institute produced, by the Ministry of Human Resources Development. The institute also has an architecture program. The organization of the department of architecture in NIT Patna dates back to 1970s.The Department furnishes wide range of courses in graphics and design. The Architecture Department of National Institute of Technology, Patna has beeen decertified by the Council of Architecture, a body of the Union government. The prominent amongst them organism Architectural Design, Climatology,Visual Arts, Architectural Graphics, Architectural Acoustics. The Department of Architecture offers a 5-year degree program in Bachelor of Architecture.
