Indian Council Of Agricultural Research







The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is an independent establishment under the Department of Agricultural Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. Formerly famous as Imperial Council of Agricultural Research, it was launched on 16 July, 1929 as a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The ICAR has its main office at New Delhi.

ICAR-AIEEA 2011 PG
Indian Council of Agricultural Research guides an All India Entrance Examination for admission(AIEEA) to PG program in Agriculture and allied areas like Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Agricultural Engineering, Home Science, Social Sciences, Dairy, Fisheries, Veterinary, and Allied Sciences for all the seats in ICAR DUs(IARI, IVRI, CIFE, NDRI) and 25% of seats in State and Central Universities.

Admission to all the PG courses in 2011 is by an all Entrance Test directed by ICAR. A big number of applicant interested in Agricultural and allied fields apply for the entrance examination.
