Kumaun University Courses

Founded in 1973, Kumaun University Nainital consists of two campuses along with an upcoming one. KU has 28 attached colleges under its wing, and as far as the territorial jurisdiction of the University is concerned, it extends ovet the entire Kumaun region. Teaching and research activities are all carried out in the residential campuses and also in the University attached colleges. Being placed in the hilly regions of the Uttaranchal, KU does the educational demands and demands of the economically and socially weaker departments. KU is one among the other accepted institutes by the UGC. Also an active member of the AIU, courses carried on within the campus is also UGC funded.
