The Institute of Hotel Management, Ahmedabad was founded in 1972. IHMA has been a pioneer center for excellence and a lively testament to the commitment for the hospitality education. The institute prepares several activities such us: Chef Competitions, Food Festivals, Educational Tours, and Fairs etc. The IHMA 2 courses would be delivered by associated Institutes of Hotel Management and Food Craft Institutes of the National Council for Hotel Management. Students are required to actively participate in these activities. The Institute also offers encouragement for the sports, debate, quizzes and recreation activities. The institute has been constructed in an environment favorable and earth quake proof structure with best infrastructure, spacious classrooms fully equipped with state of the art education aids, well-stocked library, high quality faculty and administration, well-equipped labs.
