Indian Institute of Forest Management IIFM Admission
Admission to the fully residential two year PGDFM is open every graduate from any discipline provided he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria and qualifies through the selection process. Indian Institute Of Forest Management admission announcement for the new batch of post master courses in natural resource management for its upcoming session 2011-2012, the details to admission and entrance test are given below:-
Eligibility
Applicants must have a three-year bachelor degree in any discipline received by the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification accredited by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PD) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates taking their final year graduation examination are also eligible to apply rendered they complete it before last date and fulfill the eligibility criteria as set by IIFM.
IIFM Application Form:
The candidates have to fill up a separate application form for admission to PGDFM. Application form may be got either personally or by post by sending a DD of prescribed fees drawn in favour of “Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management” payable at Bhopal. Alternatively, the form may be downloaded from the website and the filled in hardcopy of the form along with the DD for the specified amount should be sent to IIFM.
Reservation:
Reservations of seats are available for SC/ ST and physically disabled candidates as per rules, provided they meet the minimum eligibility and selection criteria as specified by IIFM.
Selection procedure:
The candidates will have to go by a selection process comprising of Written Test, Presentation and Personal Interview as decided by the Institute. Sponsored candidates are encouraged to apply.
