Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) was constituted in 1976 as Central Research Institute of Yoga (CRIY). Since the institute has been operated in great research work on Yoga, The Government of India in 1995 applied it the status of the National Yoga Institute. Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga is offered various Under Graduate Program, Post Graduate program and Diploma Program every year. In 1997 this Yoga Institute was nominated after India former Prime Minister late Moraraji Desai. Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) in New Delhi has invites applications for admission into the one year diploma in Yoga Science programme provided in the academic year 2011-2012.

Diploma in Yoga Science (D.Y.Sc.)
Course Duration: 1 year.
Eligibility criteria for admission:
Candidates must have graduate from an accredited University with minimum 40% marks in aggregate. 5% weight age will be given to those possessing PG Degree in any subject.
Age Limit: Below 30 years as on August 2011
Selection Procedure:
Selection process of the candidate will be made on the written test followed by personal interview of candidate. The candidate selection is also based on the rules and regulation of the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga.
