Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM) is a sectoral management school giving excellent management skills as well as managerial competence in the fields of forests, environment and development management. IIFM is announced admission for PGDFM program for the upcoming session 2011. All applicants desirous of seeking admission in PGDFM at IIFM, Bhopal have to appear for Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) by responding to their notification declared in leading national newspapers. IIFM will use the CAT score only for short-listing the candidates for 2 year full time post graduate programme. Eligibility for Admission:
Candidates must have a 3-year Bachelor degree in any discipline received by the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification accredited by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PD) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates taking their final year graduation examination are also eligible to apply rendered they complete it before last date and fulfill the eligibility criteria as set by IIFM.
Admission procedure:
The admission to PGDFM is by CAT examination being conducted by IIM. The candidates are required to get a minimum cut-off percentile in each section of the CAT to become eligible to be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at IIFM, Bhopal during February/March 2011.

IIFM 2011 Application Form:
The candidates have to fill up a separate application form for admission to PGDFM. Application form may be got either personally or by post by sending a DD of prescribed fees drawn in favour of “Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management” payable at Bhopal. Alternatively, the form may be downloaded from the website and the filled in hardcopy of the form along with the DD for the specified amount should be sent to IIFM.
Reservation:
Reservations of seats are available for SC/ ST and physically disabled candidates as per rules, provided they meet the minimum eligibility and selection criteria as specified by IIFM.
