Delhi Police Women Constables Recruitment
Delhi Police was reorganised in 1946 when its strength was almost repeated. The total composition of the force then was 2 Inspectors, 27 Sub-inspectors, 110 Head Constables, 985 Foot Constables and 28 Sawars. The Delhi Police Commission also recommended the introduction of Police Commissioner System which was eventually adopted from July 1, 1978. Delhi Police was recruited for 1067 in 2008 vacancies of Women Constables (Executive) in Delhi Police recruitment which was held in Delhi. In 2011 the department may open the similar vacancies; Candidates from all parts of the country fulfilling conditions mentioned hereunder can apply. Delhi Police Recruitment of Women Constables (Executive) Entrance Examination detail is given below:
Delhi Police Recruitment:
Name of the Posts: Women Constables (Executive)
Age limit: 18 to 25 years as on first week of January 2011
Nationality: Applicant should be a bonafide citizen of India.
Medical standard:
The candidates must be of sound state of health, free from defect, deformity or disease. Both eyes should have a vision 6/12 (without glasses).
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from an accredited Board.
Relax-able up to 11th pass only for the daughters of serving, deceased, retired Delhi Police personnel including Group ‘D’ employees of Delhi Police. Candidates belonging to the wards of police personnel category shall produce certificate in the prescribed format issued by DCP/Addl. DCP or ACP/Hdqrs. of the Distts/Units where the police personnel served last.
Admission Process
The Selection of the Candidate is based on Personal interview and written admission test. The Selection of the candidate is also based on the rules and regulation of the Delhi Police Recruitment of Women Constables.
Closing date:
Last date of receipt of duly filled-in application form is end of June 2011. Applications received thereafter will not be entertained.
Availability of application form:
Application Form can be downloaded form the website of Delhi Police www.delhipolicerecruitment.nic.in after filing the forms with essential details with DD of prescribed fee in favour of DCP 4th Battalion, Delhi Armed Police, Delhi (payable at Delhi). Duly filled-in application forms along with DD should be sent through ordinary post to “Post Box No. 8020, Delhi-110033”. “Application for the Post of Women Constable (Exe)-2008 in Delhi Police” should be written on the top of the envelope.
