Preiyar University Admission Exam
Periyar University was launched in 1997 by the Act 45 of Government of Tamilnadu. The University is named after a renowned social reformer popularly called Thanthai Periyar. The University Grants Commissions, New Delhi contributed the 2f status on 09.10.1998 and 12(B) status on 2005 to the Periyar University. The university is certified accredited with NAAC. The Periyar University Invites various Aspire Candidate who want to take admission in MBA / MCA Program for Session 2011. Admission in This Program is based on Entrance Exam.

Eligibility for MBA
The candidate
The MBA candidate Any Graduate with at least 50% of Marks from any recognized University
Appearing in Final Year Candidate may also apply
Eligibility for MCA
The MCA candidate should have secured 55% of marks
(i) Bachelor Degree in any subject with Mathematics at +2 level (or)
(ii) Bachelor Degree in any subject with Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects.
Selection Process
In M.B.A: Through MAT / TANCET scores, group discussion and personal interview
In M.C.A: Through TANCET score and academic score in UG programme
2011 Admission Application Forms:
1. The Application form can be getting on payment by DD from the Registrar, Periyar University, and Salem.
2. The Application form can also be get by post by sending DD along with a requisition letter and a self addressed slip to the Registrar, Periyar University, Salem – 636 011.
