Eligibility and courses detail of Central University of Bihar
M.Sc. Mathematics
Candidate should have B.A./B.A.(Hons.) or B.Sc./B.Sc.(Hons.) in Math’s or Statistics but should have studied Math’s as a subject in All the 3 years with 55 % marks (50% for SC/ST) in aggregate from a accredited Indian or foreign University.
M.Sc. Statistics
Candidate should have B.A./B.A.(Hons.) or B.Sc./B.Sc.(Hons.) in Math’s or Statistics but should have studied either Math’s or Statistics as a subject in all the 3 years with 55 % marks (50% for SC/ST) in aggregate from a recognized Indian or foreign University.
M.Sc. Biotechnology
Candidate should have B.Sc. /B.Sc. (Hons.) in any branch of Life Science (Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Bioscience, Environmental Science) with Chemistry as one of the compulsory subjects or M.B.B.S. / B. Pharma with 55 % mark (50% for SC/ST) in aggregate from a recognized Indian or foreign University.
M.Sc. Environmental Science
Candidate should have B.Sc. /B.Sc. (Hons.) in any branch of Life Science /Botany/ Zoology/ Chemistry/ Geology/ Environmental Science/ Agriculture/ Geography with 55 % mark (50% for SC/ST) in aggregate from a recognized Indian or foreign University.
M.Sc. (Geospatial Applications in Regional Development)
Age limit
Central University of Karnataka Students aged between 20 – 24 years who have completed undergraduate education and secured a
Minimum of 50% aggregate marks at undergraduate level from a recognized Indian or foreign university 30
Selection Process
The candidate Selection is Group Discussion and Interview will be conducted for applicants who qualify the Written Test. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Written Test, Group Discussion, and Interview.
How to Apply
The candidate Completed application form with required documents and prescribed fees through a bank draft, favoring Central University of Bihar, Payable at Patna is to be submitted to the Deputy Registrar, Central University of Bihar, Camp office, BIT Patna, P.O. B.V. College, Patna- 800 014 latest by March 13, 2010.
