NEIGRIHMS MBBS Entrance Exam 2011
North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) is an Autonomous Institute founded by Government of India in 1987 under the Meghalaya Registration of Societies Act 1983. North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) in Shillong, Meghalaya has announced the date of MBBS entrance exam 2011. The Institute being the first of its kind of Post Graduate Health Institute in the Regional shall take up the province of an Apex Co-ordination Center to guide the Health Policies of North Eastern Council and as well to organize with the Central Government Plans and Programmes of health care. NEIGRIHMS is an entrance test conducted for admission into MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery) programme, provided in the upcoming session 2011.

Eligibility for Admission:-
Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% for SC/ST/OBC).
Selection Procedure:-
Selection of the candidate is based on the personal interview and written test of the candidate. The candidate selection is also based on the rules and regulation of the NEIGRIHMS.

Date of Exam: Last week of July, 2011
Date of issue of Application Form: Last week of May, 2011 to Third week of June, 2011
Last Date of submitting Application Form: Third week of June, 2011
Last date of submission of application form: Second week of April, 2011

Interested candidates can download the application form and prospectus from the institute’s website: http://neigrihms.nic.in/. The prospectus – cum – application form can be downloaded from the Institute’s Website or obtained personally from NEIGRIHMS, against a demand draft / banker’s Cheque of prescribed fees in favour of Director, NEIGRIHMS payable at Shillong.
