FMS Delhi Entrance Exam 2011
The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi created a modest starting with a 3 year part-time Post graduate management programme in Business Administration for senior and middle level executives in 1954. Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) is invites applications for admission to several programmes are invited done advertisements in major national newspapers in September/October every year. FMS is one of the pioneer institutes in India providing various management courses. Though FMS accepts CAT and GMAT scores, it conducts its possess entrance test (FMS Entrance Test) for admission into several management programmes provided by it. FMS invites applications for admission to following courses for the academic session 2011.
FMS has been admitting students through Entrance Test to the
following programs:
PhD (Management)
Two- year MBA (Full Time)
Two- year MBA-Management of Services (MS)
Three –year MBA (Part Time)
Three-year MBA (PT) Health Care Administration (only through interview)
Eligibility criteria for Full-Time MBA:-
Candidates must have pursued 3-year Bachelor’s Degree programme after 12 years of formal schooling in any of the disciplines.
Candidates should have minimum requisite percentage of marks: Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences- 50%, Sciences- 55%, Mathematics or Statistics- 60%, Medicine, Engineering or Technology- 60% / CGPA of at least 6 on a scale of 10. OR have a Post Graduate Degree after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60%marks.
For Part-Time MBA:
Candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree examination with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. Candidates should have at least 3 years experience as an executive or an administrator.
For part time MBA HCA:
Candidates should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree Examination in Medicine/ equivalent.
They should have at least 5 years of experience in Hospital Administration.
GD and personal interviews of successful candidates will be held in March/ April 2011.
Important Dates (Tentative):-
Admission Test for MBA (FT) and PhD – First week of December 2010
Admission Test for MBA (PT) and MBA (PT) HCA – Last week of January 2011.
Selection Procedure
The eligible applicants will be called for a written test, and on the basis of their performance in the test, they will be invited an interview, an ex-tempore and a group discussion. . The final list of candidates selected to the program will be announced after conducting all the interviews.

Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Guawahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.
Admit Cards:-
FMS Admissions Office will begin dispatching the Entrance Test Admit Cards for MBA (FT) and PhD candidates from the 2nd week of November 2010, and for MBA (PT) and MBA (PT) HCA candidates from the last week of December 2010.
