The Institute of Technology Guru Ghasidas University was founded in the year 1997 for promoting the vocational Technical Education in the region and to offer professionally qualified technical personnel. The Institutes is announced notification for UG and PD Program for the academic year 2011 bu an Entrance exam. All the courses offered at the institute have been authorized by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, New Delhi. The Institutes provide a good number of students have been qualified in the national and international entrance examination like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, GMAT, etc and are continuing with their higher studies in reputed institutions in India and abroad. Eligibility Criteria:-
Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination form a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Important Dates (Tentative):
Brochure and Form for VET available from: 3rd week of May, 2011
Last date for receipt of duly completed application forms: 3rd week of June, 2011
Date of Entrance Test: Last week of June, 2011
Admission Procedure:-
Admission is done on the basis of merit obtained by the candidate in Pre-Entrance Test (PET) and All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), conducted by CBSE, New Delhi, followed by a counseling done by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Chhattisgarh, Raipur.

How to Apply:-
The Candidate shall pay the Entrance Fee along with the Application Form for the amount mentioned hereunder through Vishwavidyalaya Challan or through Crossed Demand Draft issued by any Nationalized/ Scheduled Bank, in favour of the “ Registrar, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya” payable at Bilaspur.
Admit Card
Admit card will be available online and sent to all applicants on their email address. It will not be sent by post. Candidates need to paste their photograph and sign at the needed place on both the Admit Card and application and get their sign and photograph.
