The Goa Institute of Management (GIM) is a business school located in the state of Goa, India. GIM established in 1993 year. This college carries on a full-time MBA (PGDBM) program (2 years) and executive MBA (3 years) and also is a resource center for PhD programs in Management for Goa University. The Goa Institute of Management (GIM) is one of the finest Management Schools in the country. It has been given top marks in terms of Placement record, Quality of Education, Providing legal power or sanction Infrastructure, Efforts at Globalization etc. From one side of an opening or location to the other the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) the Indian Government has granted accreditation to GIM and the programmes that it conducts.

Eligibility:
Candidate passed Minimum 50% aggregate marks in a three-year Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/AICTE.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Applicants to GIM are required to take the XLRI Admissions Test (XAT), which will be held on beginning of January 2011. Register for XAT at http://www.xlri.edu
Apply online on http://gim.sify.net/ Last date for online application is beginning of week of January 2010.
Candidates who have applied for admission to GIM will be shortlisted on the basis of their XAT scores, past academic performance and work experience. The shortlisted candidates will be called for face to face evaluation process for final selection in February/March 2011. (Interview centres – Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Panaji)
The final selection will be made tentatively in April 2011 on the basis of XAT scores (50% weightage), the candidate’s past academic performance (10% weightage), performance in face to face evaluation process (30 % weightage) and work experience (10% weightage), if any.
The academic session would begin in last week of June/first week of July 2011.

Obtain a Demand Draft in favour of ‘Goa Institute of Management’, payable at Panaji for prescribed fees or make cash payment at coaching institutes centers mentioned on GIM website. And also Log on to www.gim.ac.in and follow the instructions and fill the online application form. On successfully completing the online application form, you are provided with a Payment Advice Form. Take a printout of this page, which is to be mailed along with the Demand Draft/coaching institute receipt to GIM.
