Railway Recruitment Board, Jammu-Srinagar was Brought about or set up or accepted; especially long established in 1983. It caters primarily to recruitment of all-India basis to group ‘C’ advertised posts for Firozepur Division of Northern Railway and Railway and Rail coach Factory, Kapurthala. Besides this, it also conducts joint examinations for recruitment with RRB, Chandigarh for common categories of advertised group ‘C’ posts. The selection process is based on merit and is computerized, thus making it transparent and fair.

Selection Procedure
The applications are scrutinized for eligibility. The eligible candidates are called for a written examination with call letters sent a month in advance of the date of examination Indicative advertisement for the written examination are given in the Employment News, some local dailies and also on the Internet website.
The results of selection at every stage are published in the Employment News, some local dailies and two national dailies, on the internet website and advised to successful candidates through post.

TAKES THE RECRUITMENT EXAMINATION AT SRINAGAR ALSO .EVERY PERSON WANT TO APPLY THE RRB POSTS WHEN THEY READ THE EXAM OF THESE POSTS ARE HELD AT JAMMU AND DUE POORNESS AND UNEMPLOYED PERSONS CAN NOT AFFORD THE BUS FARE AND OTHER EXPENSES .SO I REQUEST UR GOOD SELF TO TAKE THESE EXAM’S HERE AT SRINAGAR AS OTHER RECRUIT CELL DID.
