AIEEE 2011 All India Engineering Entrance Examination
All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is an all-India common entrance examination manages or control by CBSE, for admission to Engineering and Architecture/Planning programmes at the undergraduate level. All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is carefully weighed as something that is required in advance condition to seek admission into B. Tech/ B.E/ B. Arch. / B. Planning program in numerous universities and institutions all over India. Application can either be made ‘Online’ or submitted on prescribed Application Form only.

Candidates qualifying AIEEE can seek admission into the following programmes at the undergraduate level, offered by various national and state level institutes.
B Tech
B. Arch
B. Planning
BE

Eligibility for AIEEE Exam
The entrance examination tests the abilities of the aspirants in particular disciplines studied by them at 10+2 level.
For B. Tech/ B.E
The candidate should have studied physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following – Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, and Biology as optional subject at 10+2 level.

For B. Arch. / B. Planning program
The aspirants must have studied mathematics as a mandatory subject and should secure minimum 50% marks in total at 10+2 level.

Application Procedure
Application Form can also be obtained by post from the Assistant Secretary (AIEEE), Central Board of Secondary Education, PS 1-2, Institutional Area, I P Extension, Patparganj, and Delhi – 110092 or personally from Regional Offices of CBSE and Designated Branches of Syndicate Bank/other Banks/Designated Institutions

Scheme of Examination
Entrance examination would consist of two papers
1st paper consisting of three parts of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of equal weightage with objective type questions for BE/B.Tech courses.
2nd paper – consisting of Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing for B. Architecture and B. Planning. The Aptitude Test is designed to evaluate candidate’s perception, imagination, observation, creativity and architectural awareness.

Syllabus
The question papers for the Examination shall be based on a common minimum syllabus drawn from syllabi taught in different State Boards. In each papers having 16 units, expect Aptitude paper, there are two part, part-1 and part-2.

Admit Card
The Admit Card will be sent by post “Under Certificate of Posting (UPC)” to the candidates (including those who made application online) about four weeks before the conduct of the examination, however, the Board will not be responsible for any consequences that may arise due to loss of admit card in transit. And also candidate get admit card from its official web site www.aieee.nic.in
