TANCET MCA 2011 Exam Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test
Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is an entrance examination carried on every year by Anna University on behalf of Tamil Nadu Government. Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is manage or control by Anna University (AU) for admission to the MCA program at the various AU affiliated colleges in Tamil Nadu. The candidates appearing in this entrance test need to cover the mentioned syllabus in order to qualify the exam and get admission in various institutes for various postgraduate programs. Anna University carries on the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) for admission to MCA. Applications are called for the Tamilnadu Common Entrance Examination TANCET 2011to is carried on by Anna University Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu from candidates who seek admission to Master of computer science.

TANCET MCA 2011 for Eligibility Criteria
A candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized university/institute. Also a candidate should have Mathematics/Statistics at 10+2 level/Diploma or Graduation. Candidates in their final year/awaiting their results can also apply. Candidates who have done their bachelor’s degree after doing their diploma can also apply.

Availability of Application forms:
The forms will be available directly from various centers as notified in the advertisement and hall ticket will be issued on-spot. The form can also be obtained by post by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form. Candidates can also download the form online from the website www.annauniv.edu. There will be a common form for all the programmes and candidates who want to appear for more than one programme has to pay additional examination fees for every programme.

Date of Entrance Examination: last week of May, 2011
Availability of Application Forms: last week of March, 2011
Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: last week of April, 2011

Exam pattern:
TANCET MCA entrance exam will be for 2hrs and there will be 100 questions. All questions will be multiple choice questions. And negative marking will be there for wrong answer.
