The SCTIMST (Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology) Thiruvananthapuram invites applications for admission 2011 into its Ph.D course. The SCTIMST Ph.D course is staring from January.

Course Offered:
Ph.D. Program in biochemistry, bio-materials, biomedical engineering, instrumentation, cellular and molecular cardiology, health policy, gender issues in health, implant biology, health system, polymer sciences, radiology, neurobiology, epidemiology, health economics, nuerology, pathology, toxicology and thrombosis research.

Minimum marks required to apply: Consistently good academic record with 60% (GPA 6.5/10) marks in UG and PG examinations. However, for PG from Sciences stream, the min mark is 70% (GPA 7.5/10). For applying for Ph.D. in medical specialties, the examinee must have min 60% marks (First Class) in MBBS.
