MHT CET 2011 Maharashtra Common Entrance Test For MCA
The Government of Maharashtra conducts Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) 2011 for admission to 1st Year of 3-year Full Time PG Degree Course in MCA in the Govt, Govt. Aided, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the State of Maharashtra.
Eligibility Criteria Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for MCA 2011:
The examinees should have passed graduate degree with min marks 45% the Institute accredited through the AICTE.
Key Dates (Tentative):
2nd week of February, 2011 to Mid of February, 2011 will be Date of Sale of the MHT MCA CET 2011 Information Brochure
1st week of March, 2011 will be Date of entrance test
2nd week of April, 2011 will be Date of Declaration of the results
Please note that the dates are only tentative and are not final. The post will be updated as soon as the dates are officially released.
Maharashtra MCA CET MCA 2011 Application Form:
MAH MCA CET 2011 Information brochure along with the Application Kit for the aspiring examinees will be available at the choose post offices mentioned below only during working hours of the respective post offices against the payment of the MAH MCA CET 2011 application form processing fees. Examinees will be able to refer and confirm the Online Application form by the website www.dte.org.in/mca.

Maharashtra MCA CET 2011 Syllabus
The MAH MCA CET 2011 examination comprises of 2 papers (objective type) of 1 hour duration viz.
General Aptitude (GA)
Computer Concepts (CC)
General Aptitude:
The main objective of this paper is to assess the general aptitude of the examinee to pursue a computer applications and software profession. The MAH MCA CET questions in this paper will extend: logical reasoning, quantitative reasoning, high school mathematics, vocabulary, English comprehension and verbal ability. A good grasp of the following topics of high school mathematics (up to the 12th standard) will be useful:

Trigonometry
Probability and Statistics
Arithmetic
Basic Set Theory and Functions
