AIPMT 2011 All India Pre Medical Test
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi conducts AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test) / Pre-Dental Entrance Examination (AIPMT) 2011 to be through the as per the following schedule for admission to 15% of the total seats for Medical/Dental Courses in all Medical/Dental Colleges run through the Union of India, State Govt, Municipal and other local authorities in the country except in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir States.

Eligibility for All India Pre Medical Test 2011
Examinee can appear in the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination for a maximum of 3 attempts. Apart from passing Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, you must secure a at least of 50% aggregate marks at the +2 examination. The percentage of marks needed drops to 40% for the SC, ST or OBC scholars. If examinee have appeared in the 10+2 examination in 2011, examinee can sit in the entrance test.

Age Limit:
An examinee has to complete his/her 17 years of age. The maximum age for the entrance test is 25, but for the SC/ST examinees, there is a relaxation of 5 years.

Key Dates (Tentative):
1st week of April, 2011 will be Date of Preliminary Examination
Mid of May, 2011 will be Date of Final Examination
3rd week of April, 2011 will be Date of Preliminary Examination Result Declaration
1st week of June, 2011 will be Date of Final Examination Result Declaration

Please note that the dates are only tentative and are not final. The post will be updated as soon as the dates are officially released.

Selection Procedure:
Selection based on AIPMT entrance exam, Group Dissection and Personal Interview.

AIPMT 2011 Application Forms:
Application forms 2011 will be available directly from the Board or through sending a DD along with the request for form. Examinees can also transfer the form by the CBSE official website (www.cbse.nic.in).
