MHT CET Form Eligibility Admit card
MHT-CET-2011 NOTIFICATION Maharashtra
Govt of Maharashtra has appointed Director, Medical Education and Research, Mumbai as the competent authority for the MHT-CET-2011. Government of Maharashtra shall conduct a single combined “Common Entrance Test” MHT-CET-2011 for all Health Sciences, Engineering and Pharmacy degree courses for the academic year 2010-2011. The said CET will be agreed on Thursday, 6th May 2011. Government of Maharashtra Directorate of Medical Education and Research CET Cell, Opp. Govt Dental College and Hospital Building, St. George’s Hospital Campus, Mumbai-400001.
Notification MHT-CET-2011
Govt of Maharashtra shall conduct a single combined common entrance test MHT-CET-2010 for all Health Sciences, Engineering and Pharmacy degree courses for the academic year 2010-2011.The entrance test will be held on Thursday, 6th May, 2010
Selection criteria
The merit list of the above said examination will be employed for admission in
(i) Govt/Municipal corporation/govt aided colleges of Health sciences degree coruses
(ii) Govt/govt. aided/university managed colleges/university departments/autonomous colleges including ICT, Mumbai and unaided private colleges (those colleges who have given accept to participate in MHT-CET-2010) of engineering and pharmacy degree courses
(iii) BVSc and AH degree course
Selection process
For selection procedure there will be classify adequate authorities. For selection to Health science degree courses, the director, medical education and research (DMER), Mumbai is the competent authority. For selection to engineering and pharmacy degree courses, the director, Technical education (DTE), Mumbai will be the effective authority. The authority for selection to BVSc and AH degree course is the Registrar, Maharashtra Animal and Fisheries science university Nagpur.
Eligibility
The qualifying examination for appearing at MHT-CET-2010 is HSC (12th std) or equivalent examination with the specifies for eligibility as defined in the respective brochure(s). Maharashtra state candidates appearing for HSC (12th std) or equivalent examination or who have passed their qualifying examination earlier i.e. 2009 or before and desire to appear for the MHT-CET-2010 will receive their application form from their respective Jr. college/school (from where they have passed/appearing qualifying examination)
Availability of Forms
A single application form and three brochures (Health science, Engineering and Pharmacy) will be made available from 12.03.2010. The agenda and place of finding and submission of application form is as per following
Sale of application form with information booklet and submission of application form at several Jr. college/High School, at divisional authorities (for candidates who have appeared/passed HSC 12th std) or equivalent examination from outside Maharashtra: 12.03.2010 to 25.03.2010. All the three booklets (Health science, Engineering and Pharmacy) are available on the website of DMER (dmer.org) and DTE (.dte.org.in). Aiming candidates should go through the eligibility criteria as per the several MHT-CET-2010 booklets, before buying the application form.
Application procedure
The cost of the application form along with the three information booklets of MHT-CET-2010 and Examination fee is Rs 700/- for open category and all outside Maharashtra candidates and Rs 500/- for allow class examinees (belonging to Maharashtra state only. This amount is not refundable. The candidates from outside Maharashtra (OMS) can buy application form and information brochure(s) of MHT-CET-2010 from any disjunctive authority office as mentioned in annexure-A by submitting demand draft of Rs 700/- drawn in favour of competent authority, MHT-CET, Mumbai payable at Mumbai, drawn on any planned commercial bank.

MKB candidates of Bidar district and Gulbarga district – Notified college, govt medical college, Latur
Central govt employee (transferred to Maharashtra) – Division authority of place of posting
MKB candidates of Belgaum district and Karwar district – Notified College, RCSM govt medical college, Kolhapur
Important note only for Health Science degree courses
All OMS candidates mentioned in above should show relevant documents (list in respective brochures) to the divisional/notified authority at the time of submission of application form
Eligibility for Health science courses of candidates who have passed SSC (10th std) and/or HSC (12th std) or equivalent examination
HSC/SSC, Maharashtra state, eligible for Health science courses
HSC Maharashtra but SSC out side Maharashtra, domicile certificate required, eligible for Health Science courses

Important note
Outside Maharashtra state (OMS) candidates are permitted to appear for MHT-CET 2010 in order to become eligible for admission to first year of; four year full time degree courses in engineering/technology in unaided private institutes who have given consent to participate in MHT-CET-2010; four year full time degree course in Pharmacy in unaided private institutes who have given consent to participate in MHT-CET 2010
