Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), Delhi invites application forms 2011 for admission into its various programs.
Course Offered:
DM Hepatology 3 years
MCh Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery 3 years
MD-PhD 5 years
PhD (Biomedical Sciences) 3-5 years
Eligibility for ILBS Delhi 2011 Admission:
For DM Hepatology:
MD/DNB in General Medicine or Pediatrics from an Indian University accredited through the Institute or Diplomat of National Board in General Medicine / Pediatrics or any other examination passed through the Institute for this purpose from time to time.
MCh Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery:
MS/DNB in General Surgery from an Indian University accredited through the Institute or Diplomat of National Board in General Surgery or any other examination passed through the Institute for this purpose from time to time.
For MD-PhD:
MBBS or any other accredited medical qualification contained in the 1st or 2nd schedule or part-II of the Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1958.
PhD (Biomedical Sciences):
The examinee seeking admission to the Ph.D course must possess minimum one of the following qualifications of accredited University/Institutes:
A degree of Master of Sciences or Master’s degree in any discipline related to Biological Sciences with minimum 55% marks.
MBBS degree with at least of 55% aggregate marks in the final professional examinations.
Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, Delhi 2011 Application Forms:
Application forms 2011 will be available directly from the institute or through sending a DD along with the request for form. Examinees can also transfer the form by the ILBS official website (www.ilbs.in).
Key Dates (Tentative):
Mid of August, 2011 will be Date of issue of application forms
2nd week of September, 2011 will be Date of written entrance examination
3rd week of September, 2011 will be Date of declaration of results
Last week of September, 2011 will be Date of interview

Selection based on entrance exam, Group Dissection and Personal Interview.
