State Bank of India (SBI) invited Application forms for the post of PO (Probationary Officers) in 2010; SBI may be recruited similar posts in 2011.

Probationary Officers
Qualifications:
XII standard with 60% or in Diploma after 10th standard; and 55% aggregate marks in Graduation.
Age Limit:
21 to 30 as on February, 2011
Key Dates (Tentative):
On-line registration will start from: 1st Week of February 2011
Date of Written Test: Mid of April, 2011
Please note that the dates are only tentative and are not final. The post will be updated as soon as the dates are officially released.
Selection Procedure:
Selection based on Written Test and Personal Interview.
How to Apply:
The examinees are needed to apply online by SBI official website. No other means/mode of application will be received.

Soumyajit – the test for specialist technical executive was held on 31st oct 2010. Even the written exam results r not out yet. So I don’t think there would be any further announcement for the same role at least till July/august 2011. Moreover if they keep the same eligibility, you may not be eligible. This year they wanted people in the age group of 26-35 years with at least 3 years exp in evaluating high end proposals in banks or FIs. Ofcourse there is another eligibility criterion of min 60% throughout.

Have u applied for STE? According to their exp req. at present I have 3+ yrs exp. Though I’m at IT industry, but I work in Banking Vertical. Since, at that moment I didn’t have 3 yrs of exp so, I was unable to apply.
